The Government Results Center offers a wide range of services at no cost to its members. All activities and events are performed by volunteers from the Government and our Sponsors.

  • Designer and Moderator of the Government Results Center’s Summit conferences;

  • Convener of training workshops on strategic planning, performance measurement, and results management – including participation in a single department or agency conference/retreat for preparing Plans or Reports;

  • Convener of the Government Enterprise Integrators Group (GEIG) which meets monthly (attendance of government officials ranges from 75 to 200) to share on what (a) a Department is doing to integrate performance, budgeting, execution, technology, human capital and evaluation for an effective performance management system or (b) selected agencies are doing. GEIG meetings are free, restricted in attendance to government officials, public administration academics, and international development finance institutions and sponsored by three agencies of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (Agricultural Marketing Service, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, and the Grain Inspection, Packers and Stockyards Administration) and the Global Public Sector practice of Grant Thornton LLP headquartered in Alexandria, VA;

  • Convener of self-directed research teams on various issues as requested by agencies - teams are affiliated with the GEIG; presently they are the (a) The Strategic Center of Results Excellence (SCORE) Process Team that uses the Government Enterprise Performance Management Maturity Model (PMMM) and (b) the Enterprise Risk Management Team. A third research team is in formation on Human Capital Solutions/Change Management. Other Teams under consideration include (1) Internal Controls, (2) Integration Management/Business Transformation, and (3) Performance Measurement Innovations;

  • Clearinghouse for performance management guidance from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO), research organizations such as the National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA), and academics;

  • Clearinghouse for agencies’ strategic plans, performance plans, performance budgets, congressional justifications, performance and accountability reports, IT Plans and Inspector General Plans and reports, plus relevant GAO observations reports and testimonies;

  • Clearinghouse and information coordination assistance as a service to inter-agency groups, GPRA Coordinators, PMA Coordinators, plus Offices of the CFO, CHCO, CIO/IRM, CAO, and IG;

  • Clearinghouse for PMA-PART/GPRA/Clinger-Cohen Act no-fee training events;

  • Promotional and content design assistance to already established inter-agency groups, based upon the Center’s governmentwide knowledge of results issues and trends, to expand the group’s membership and influence;

  • Distribution of free E-mail ALERTS to the PMA/GPRA/Clinger-Cohen Community (including CIOs/IRMs, OCFOs, OCHCOs, OCAOs, and OIGs) about Hill hearings and significant publications that reaches an estimated 10,000 government employees;

  • Sharing requests for PMA/GPRA/Clinger-Cohen related information about agency practices and vacancy announcements as requested by Center members;

  • Website at http://www.GovResultsCenter.org for ALERTs, GEIG presentations, Discussion Forum, Library, and other information

The Government Results Center’s Director testifies on the Hill, confers with foreign dignitaries, and speaks to groups of federal employees in the Washington, D.C. region at various inter-agency group meetings about PMA/GPRA/Clinger-Cohen related news, activities, issues and trends.
